Mechanism of the Tremor Induced by Anticholinesterase Agents

The origin of tremor has been investigated by injecting anticholinesterase agents in globus pallidus and by its s. c. administration after cut through medulla spinalis.
The intensity of tremor produced by s. c. administerd armin and injected with physiol. saline in globus pallidus, nucleus caudatus and nucleus ventralis thalami has been compared by atropine and caramiphen treated rats.
It has been tried to explain the origin of tremor by peripheral or Central pathway. The results obtained indicate both components.
