Significance of Interchange of Iron and Cobalt in Some Compounds for Their Antimalignant Action
DOI:

Sodium cobalt-nitrocyanide has been demonstrated to exert a similar anti-tumour action as sodium nitroferricyanides. Thus, it is concluded that antimalignant action does not depend on the presence of iron in the complex. On the other hand, since sodium ferroxyanide has no effect it is highly probable that the presence of the nitro group is essential.
