Abstract

A small percentage (only 5,7%) of the population of Neum Klek was found to suffer from various allergic diseases. No cases of bronchial asthma were found among the patients examined.

The favourable solidification, as regards allergic diseases, can be accounted for numerous favourable factors: the climate, lack of air-pollution and of predisposition for allergic diseases being among the most important.
