The Effect of Nucleotides, Autocoides and Neurotransmittors Upon Smooth Muscle of Blood Vesels and Lungs (In Situ and in Vitro)

Acetylcholine, histamine and adenosine triphosphate induce increase of blood pressure in pulmonary artery and decrease in femoral artery of anesthetized dogs. Adrenaline and serotonin increased the pulmonal arterial blood pressure. The effect of ADP, and AMP was insignificant.
The relaxation and decrease of the response of isolated frog’s lung induced adrenaline, serotonin, AMP and adenosine. The spasm of the lungs smooth muscle was found after acetylcholine, histamine, ADP and ATP.
The comparison of the results got i n vitro with then in situ suggests conclusion that endogenic substances which induce relaxation of isolated lungs decrease the blood pressure in pulmonary artery. Direct effect of different active agents is rather important in regulation of respiratory movement.
