Insidon in the Medical Praxis

1. Insidon (Geigy) has proved very effective in the treatment of neurotic manifestations. Particularly good results have been achieved in insomnia, psychogenic headaches, irritability, heart troubles and depressive states.
2. Polysymptomatic neuroses reacted far better to Insidon than inveterate monosymptomatic cases. In all instances Insidon can be recommended as a useful drug in the pre-treatment and adjuvant in psycho-therapy.
3. In our experience the therapeutic effect of Insidon is usually observed at the end of the first week of administration. Subsequently the dose can be reduced (100—200 mg) and so maintained for several weeks.
No side-effects could be observed even with doses of 400 mg of the drug.
