Dugotrajno hospitalizovani shizofreni bolesnici i činioci koji povećavaju (smanjuju) šansu za njihov povratak u otvorenu društvenu zajednicu

Utvrđen je broj pacijenata, posebno shizofrenih, koji su preko dvije godine hospitalizovani u psihijatrijskim ustanovama Bosne i Hercegovine. Zatim je identifikovan stepen asociranosti pojedinih karakteristika shizofrenih pacijenata i njihovih porodica sa dugotrajnom ili kratkotrajnom hospitalizacijom. Iznijeta je moguća interpretacija nalaza da dugotrajno hospitalizovani shizofrenici značajno češće dolaze iz seoskih sredina i da su nižeg socio-ekonomskog statusa.
