Prof. Stanetić is an associate professor of Family Medicine at the Medical Faculty, University of Banja Luka, Bosnia and Herzegovina. She is a graduate of Banja Luka School of Medicine (1984). At the University of Banja Luka she obtained a master degree (2007), PhD (2011), and professorship (2017). She has been a member of the Department of Family Medicine at the Faculty of Medicine in Banja Luka since its founding in 2001.

She completed a specialization in general medicine (1993) at the Faculty of Medicine in Belgrade (Serbia), and a specialization in family medicine in 2002 at the Faculty of Medicine in Banja Luka. 

Prof. Stanetić works regular working hours in Primary Health Center Banja Luka, and is also a lecturer in the subject of Family Medicine at the School of Medicine in Banja Luka and the School of Medicine Foča, University of East Sarajevo. In addition to educating students, she works on educating family medicine residents at both faculties. Her research interest are all topics relevant to family medicine, especially burnout syndrome, geriatric topics (geriatric depression, risk for falls in the elderly, polypharmacy), diabetes type 2, quality of life, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD).
