Dr. Trevisi is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at Ospedale Santo Spirito, Pescara, Italy. He graduated from the Catholic University Medical School in Rome (2008), where he also achieved his CCT in Neurosurgery (2016).

During his neurosurgical training he attended the Victor Horsley Neurosurgical Department, National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery in London and the Epilepsy Center at Niguarda Hospital in Milan where he focused on epilepsy surgery. He also attended the Neurosurgical Department at Gui De Chauliac in Montpellier where he was trained in functional neuro-oncology by Professor Duffau. He was first appointed as Consultant Neurosurgeon at Gemelli Hospital in Rome and later moved to Pescara where he is now conducting his clinical and research activity which is mainly focused on characterizing glioma microenviroment, on developing new therapeutic strategies for gliomas and on utilization of advanced intraoperative technologies to improve brain tumor resection and to map and monitor brain functions during surgery.

He is also visiting researcher at Department of Neuroscience, Section of Neurosurgery, Uppsala University where he is conducting post-mortem fiber dissection and in-vivo MR tractography research on brain structural connectivity.
