Prof. Ključevšek is a graduate of the Ljubljana University School of Medicine (1989). At the University of Ljubljana, Medical Faculty, she obtained PhD (2009) with her research "Ureteric jet Doppler waveform: is it reliable predictor of vesicoureteric reflux in children?", in the field of non-invasive detection of vesicoureteric reflux in children.

She became a Full Professor of Radiology in 2022. She has been Head of Radiology Unit in Children’s Hospital Ljubljana between 2009-2013. Since than she works as consultant of Pediatric Radiology at University Children’s Hospital Ljubljana. Beside clinical work she dedicated most of her time to clinical researches in pediatric radiology, focused on contrast-enhanced ultrasonography examinations: intracavitary and intravenous applications.

She is one of the first researchers in this field in the world which results in many published papers in established journals and many invited lecturers in national, European and world congresses.

Prof. Ključevšek is a member of the Slovenian and European Radiology Society, European Society of Pediatric Radiology (where she is an active member of Abdominal Task Force), Slovenian Society of Ultrasound in Medicine, and EFSUMB. In addition, she is an educator of many young radiologists and pediatricians in the field of pediatric radiology.
