Andrica Lekić is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Basic Medical Sciences at the Faculty of Health Studies, University of Rijeka (FZSRI).

She was born in Rijeka where she graduated from the Faculty of Education in 1988, and earned her Bachelor's degree in mathematics and physics. She completed her postgraduate university study in natural sciences, field of physics, branch biophysics at the Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb in 2004 and was awarded a Master of Science degree. In 2018, she defended a doctoral dissertation in the field of basic medical sciences, branch of immunology, at the Faculty of Medicine, University of Rijeka (MEDRI).

She has been involved in teaching biostatistics for more than 30 years. She has been a course coordinator or collaborator in undergraduate and postgraduate studies at MEDRI and FZSRI.

Andrica Lekić is the author or a co-author of several scientific and professional papers, and she participates in biomedical projects funded by the Ministry of Science and University of Rijeka.
