
Aida Kulo Ćesić, MD, PhD

Prof Kulo Ćesić, born in Sarajevo in 1979, is a medical doctor with a clinical pharmacology and toxicology background, currently working as a full professor of Pharmacology and Toxicology, and a vicedean for Quality at the University of Sarajevo - Faculty of Medicine, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Prof Kulo Ćesić earned her M.D. degree, and doctoral degree from the University of Sarajevo, while her perinatal pharmacology related doctoral research was conducted at the Catholic University of Leuven, Belgium. Next to pharmacology and toxicology, the Prof Kulo Ćesić research areas of interest are emerging public health issues, primarily immunisation, drug abuse and indoor air quality health implications. Prof Kulo Ćesić published 79 research articles, and also received reviewer credit from a number of national and international medical journals in addition to several of international research awards and scholarships (JoinEu-See scholarships for scientific training in Western Europe, 14-month scholarships from the Catholic University of Leuven, ERAWEB scholarships for academic exchange as a visiting professor at the Master's study at the Catholic University of Leuven, Bill & Melinda Gates scholarship for participation in the "19th Advance vaccinology course", France) to her credit.
